Trust & Safety
1.Attorney oversight of AI
Our AI assists with drafting and organization, but a human, bar-licensed immigration attorney reviews and signs every petition before it is filed. AI never files, never pays, and never sends communications on its own. The attorney is the legally responsible party.
2.Data protection
- Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
- Your case data is never used to train any public or third-party AI model.
- Least-privilege access controls and audit logging on sensitive actions.
- SOC 2 Type II controls, independently audited. See our SOC 2 page.
3.Privacy & sensitive documents
We minimize and protect personally identifiable information (PII). Where attorney-client privilege applies between you and an attorney you engage, your communications are further protected. For details, read our Privacy Policy.
4.Fraud & misuse prevention
We screen for fraud and abuse, verify identity where appropriate, and conduct conflict-of-interest checks at intake before an attorney is assigned. Misuse of the platform may result in suspension.
5.Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you've found a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@visasherpa.ai. We investigate all good-faith reports and ask that you avoid accessing or modifying other users' data.
6.Reporting abuse or safety concerns
To report abuse, suspected fraud, or any safety concern, contact trust@visasherpa.ai.
